Trading FacesT.M. Stage School  was established in 1993, to give young talent the opportunity to explore performance skills for stage and screen.


Programmes are structured so that the participants are introduced to acting; music and dance in a manner that encourages imagination, and self expression and develops self confidence. Workshops are lively and enjoyable, ensuring a creative atmosphere within which young people can develop.



All students will take accredited group Musical theatre Exams, in December 2018                                     

Seniors exam will be based on 'Hamilton'

Juniors exam will be based on 'The Little Mermaid'

Tots exam will be based on 'The Lion King'

All students will perform in the Town Hall Theatre in April 2019

Seniors  will perform  'Legally Blonde'

Juniors  will perform  'The Sound of Music'

Tots  will perform  'OMG Disney

Junior and Senior students will experience a professional sound studio.

Into the Woods, Oliver, Les Miserables, Annie, Guys & Dolls, Fame, West Side Story, Busgy Malone, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Fiddler on the Roof, Pride and Prejudice, The Importance of Being Earnest, to name a few!



Students have had the opportunity to perform in Galway International Arts Festival, with the acclaimed Druid theatre and Gary Hynes in Waiting for Godot, Brigid, Famine.  Also with Enda Walsh in The Second Violinist, Ballyturk and The Pillowman.

 Tiny Tots (5 - 7 yrs)   workshops run from 10:00 - 11:30
 Juniors (8 - 12 yrs)   workshops run from 12:15 - 14:45
 Seniors (13 - 18 yrs)   workshops run from 15:15 - 18:00

Acting introduces performers to

Improv. Games.  Scene Study. Projection/ Pace /Delivery.  Direction/Presence. Musical Theatre Exams. Performance in Town hall theatre.

Singing introduces students to

Vocal techniques. Breathing. Solo & Group format.  Recording  Studio Experience. Musical theatre exams. Performance in Town hall theatre.

Dance introduces performers to

Hip Hop. Modern dance. Musical  theatre. Strength and flexibility.  Rhythm & Space. Musical theatre exams.  Performance in Town Hall theatre.
